Jameson is a Single distillery Irish whiskey which combines malted barley with unmalted or "green" barley. The most famous component within Jameson whiskey is the "Pure Pot Still" distilling tradition.
The water used in production of Jameson whiskey is pure, natural spring water drawn from the Dungourney River that flows through Midleton Distillery. Made from ripe Irish barley, the finest cereal grains, yeast and pure crystal clear water Jameson whiskey is a very aromatic drink with notes of waxy orange skins and linseed oil. It has a very firm, oily, intense and mouthfilling taste which finishes with delicate peppery aroma. However, a hint of spice counters an increasing oaky bitterness though the barley and sherry last to the very end.
